Mercedes W-211 suction line tool

Mercedes have outdone themselves with superior German engineering. The “springlock” connection has been reworked and made almost leakproof, while maintaining the production line flexibility. However, it does take a special tool (clamp) to disconnect the connection for service work.

Used in MB 211 and Smart vehicles.

Instructions:
1. Install the half-moon shaped clamp over the connection. Please note: This is only possible in one manner; the clamp features two slits that glide over a cut edge on the connection.
2. Push the clamp downwards, away from the push rod. Pull both tube-ends away from each other.
3. Lift the push rod up, and remove the clamp from the connection.
4. Fully disassemble the tube ends.
