Disconnect tool for Smart High pressure line

The “springlock” connection has been reworked and made almost leakproof, while maintaining the production line flexibility. However, it does take a special tool (clamp) to disconnect the connection for service work.

Used in MB 211 and Smart vehicles.

Instructions:
1. Install the half-moon shaped clamp over the connection. Please note: This is only possible in one manner; the clamp features two slits that glide over a cut edge on the connection.
2. Push the clamp downwards, away from the push rod. Pull both tube-ends away from each other.
3. Lift the push rod up, and remove the clamp from the connection.
4. Fully disassemble the tube ends.
