The refrigerant flushing kit is solely developed to flush automotive A/C systems.
Designed for use with refrigerant R134a or R1234yf.

Flushing the refrigerant circuit with refrigerant is to remove oil and other foreign liquids from the A/C system.

With the electric heating belt the refrigerant in the cylinder can be heated up to 70°C.  At 70°C the vapor pressure of R134a is around 20 bar. This extremely warm refrigerant gives a very good cleaning result. On the other side of the A/C system you connect an empty cylinder to collect the contaminated refrigerant.

By using a sightglass at the side of the receiver cylinder you are be able to observe the result of the flushing process. If the result of the flushing process is insufficient, because there is still contamination visible in the sightglass, the flushing process needs to be repeated.

After the flushing process, the refrigerant can be re-used, by utilizing the distillation process via the gas side of the receiver cylinder.
Because liquids, like oil, UV-Dye and other oil contaminations are heavier then refrigerant, the dirt collects at the bottom of the receiver cylinder. After evacuation, the dirt can be drained from the receiver cylinder and appropriately be disposed of.
