Some modern cars have service connections that are very creatively. For example, many Ford vehicles, where the high pressure service connection is critically recessed in the radiator support. In practice, it appears that in some cases the shortcut (from the service station / meter set) does not fit the service connection.
Also on several vehicles we find the low pressure connection point to be similarly difficult to access - hence we did design a low pressure adapter as well.
