A simple tamperproof seal that is placed over the existing service connections of R1234yf systems. By installing the easy-to-use Click Lock Protective Cap over the existing dust cap, connecting service couplers onto the service fitting without leaving evidence is prohibited. When a vehicle returns to your facility with the Click Lock Caps broken, or the seal of the Click Lock being broken, you then know that a third party has invaded the system that you last serviced. This allows you to judge whether you will 1) trust the system to have been serviced with the correct refrigerant, lubricant or other additives; 2) accept any warranties on previously performed service work. Click Locks are provided as complete sets: 25 red Click Lock Caps for the Hi-side, 25 blue Click Lock Caps for the Lo-side, and 25 tamperproof labels with unique serial numbers for the caps, engine compartments, workorder and invoice. All this means that there is no need for special tools, or additional efforts in writing down serial numbers.
